FIRST LOOK AT A BLACK CREEK PIONEER VILLAGE WEDDING

A bride and groom's first look at a Black Creek Pioneer Village wedding is an opportunity to take outstanding images. Wherever a photographer points his camera he can see splendid backdrops. Pioneer Village is one of top wedding photography locations in Toronto. It abounds in heritage buildings or carefully maintained gardens that add colour and character to the photographs. If you don't get married at this establishment, you will need a permit for wedding photography or an engagement photo shoot.

This photos in this album spread were taken during the unveiling of he bride, not too far from the wedding venue. The sequence of four photos starts with the bride walking towards the groom. She holds her bouquet and advances confidently towards her future husband. The next image shows the bride just behind her husband to be. The third image is the most powerful on this album spread. It catches the moment when the couple see each other and captures their reactions. Until now, everything in this mini photo shoot was directed.  from now on we, the wedding photographers stopped controlling the wedding day. Now, it is the bride and groom who are the main actors in these shots. They leave their emotions flow, which in turn, results in the best wedding photography.

Here are the elements that make this album spread stand out. First, the genuine emotions of the newlyweds. Second, the compositional elements of the images. The fence creates leading lines that emphasise the subject in the frame. Finally, the intense green captivates the viewer and make the images memorable.

After the first look we headed to the wedding chapel for the ceremony. The bride and groom could have tied the knot in the Town Hall but they chose the little church as they thought it would be more appropriate for their rustic wedding. Soon after, the family and guests headed to the venue while the couple and the bridal party joined me for a photo session. Finally, the wedding day ended with the reception at the Grand Pavilion.

Location: 1000 Murray Ross Pkwy, North York, ON M3J 2P3.
