After we took formal portraits of the groom and the groomsmen, it was time for the guys to have fun before the ceremony and reception at Kortright. They had a glass of grappa, lit their cigars and relaxed.
I took a few shots while the groomsmen enjoyed their cigars and drinks. The lighting wasn’t great, but I think it still comes out ok.
The guys and I discussed some of their favourite moments at the wedding, and the photo session in general. They were all very happy with the photos, and I could tell that they were having fun.
The groomsmen were out in the garden, taking photos of each other, so I quickly switched to them. It was nice to get a shot of the whole group, since most of the photos I’d taken earlier were focused on the guys.
They posed and laughed for several minutes before leaving. I loved getting a couple shots of the guys, and especially loved capturing the moment they posed for a few minutes.
The wedding photos are just a small part of the story of how my relationship with these guys developed over the course of several months. It was a pleasure working with them, and I hope you enjoy seeing the photos as much as I did taking them.
