This powerful image features the groom beating the drums alongside two guests at this beautiful wedding at Château Le Parc. He is tense demeanour perfectly reflects the atmosphere of the moments when the entertainers handed the groom a drum and started accompanied him.
I remember this wedding they like it was yesterday. During the dances that the followed dinner, the Party Crew Entertainment Company created an outstanding atmosphere by using light, sound, send, fog and fire I have never seen on any other wedding day.
Because the groom was looking down at his from I lowered my stance and photographed him from a very low angle shooting upwards. That gives the groom a very masculine posture that complements he is massive stature. In photography that is called the hero pose. The groom's facial expression and the slight movement of his hands captured by shooting at 1/200s provided perfect description of the phenomenal energy that abounded on this big day. On the right side of the groom, one of the guests probably the groom's uncle is dancing in unison.
The presence of the three men in the image and the slight tilt of the camera makes the photograph appealing and gives it a sense of movement.
