In this formal portrait of the bride and bridesmaids I captured her joy and love in a wonderful natural light. The courtyard at Old Mill Toronto is perfect for pictures especially in the afternoon. The sun bounces into the walls of the courtyard giving a dreamy light and look which is very much sought after by the brides these days.
Before posing the bridal party, we always look for the best light in the scene. Here, the gorgeous light was very helpful in helping to lighten up her face and bring out the natural beauty. We were able to keep the look very soft and natural, and the natural beauty in her eyes.
We love how the bridesmaids were able to make it look effortless. While this was a photo shoot that we had done with them before, the ladies were so fun and playful. We really enjoyed being around them and getting to know them as people.
The best part was how fun it was. All of the girls were very excited and happy to be there. We made sure to give them lots of laughs and smiles throughout the shoot. It helped to make it even better. We were able to capture a great portrait of the bride, the girls, and their personalities together.
