The Vue Wedding Photography
Parmita and Kanishk had an elegant fall wedding at The Vue Event, one of the GTA event spaces with splendid views. Their wedding day was in November and despite the cold weather, the couple insisted that we take outdoor photographs on their big day. This beautiful venue owned by Peter and Paul's boasts fantastic views of the golf course and it is perfect for special events from 100 to 750 people if you are planning a cocktail reception. Besides the beautiful views of this event space, I love the mural that makes a perfect backdrop for night photos as you can see in the gallery below. The establishment hosts a variety of events ranging from corporate meetings to South Asian weddings. From a wedding photographer's perspective, this place is a pleasure to photograph in and showcases a spectacular lighting system that will make your wedding photos look gorgeous. At night, I always suggest my couples to reserve 5 to 10 minutes for romantic environmental portraits of the bride and groom.
Parmita and Kannishk's Big Day
After a phenomenally beautiful wedding in India, the bride and groom celebrated their marriage in Toronto throwing a lavish cocktail reception at this event space. The day started late, after the sunset when the bride and groom received guests from various parts of the world. The splendid mural at the entrance of the event space provided the perfect background for family photos. Given that the special day was in November, the venue was already decorated for Christmas. The cocktail reception opened with a grand entrance of the bridal party and the bride and groom. Smoke, fireworks and dynamic Indian music made this a great moment we captured masterfully. The grand entrance was followed by a Bollywood style first dance where the couple showed their exquisite dancing abilities. The evening continued with a slideshow of highlights of the wedding in India, followed by a series of speeches. The most remarkable ones were those of the sister of the beautiful bride and the groom's sister. The couple followed and thanked all the guests for attending their special event. Despite the cold weather and the darkness, we ventured outdoors and took a series of romantic images in front of the venue and in the back.
The Vue - A Splendid Wedding Venue
You are probably familiar with Peter and Paul's venues. Their signature style is marked by excellent customer service, great food and lavish locations. If you visit the space during the day, you will realize how the establishment received its name. Located at 195 Galaxy Blvd, Etobicoke, ON M9W 6R7, the event space boasts a 4.3 star rating on Google. I am familiar with various rating systems and how prone they are to manipulation so I will only consider Google as a reliable source of reviews. One of the recurring themes is the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff. The space is not only used for weddings! You can book your Jack and Jill party, bridal shower and even corporate events here. My couples had only positive feedback on the staff. To give you an idea how polite the staff is, we ran in and out repeatedly and the security guard ALWAYS opened the door for us, even though it was not his job to do so. I was impressed about the fact all the staff went the extra 100 miles to exceed the couple's expectations.
As a wedding photographer, I always notice lighting and I have to say the establishment paid special attention to that aspect. The dance floor is spacious enough and the space boasts very modern smoke and audio video systems.
Parking
There is plenty of parking in front of the building and the main entrance is accessible to guests with disabilities.
