During the bride's preparation for her Black Creek Pioneer Village wedding ceremony, I could capture a few unforgettable moments. The first image shows the bride, her sister and their father getting ready for the big day. The image on the right, taken later on the wedding day, features the unveiling of the bride and her reaction when she sees her father minutes before heading to the wedding venue.
Wedding photography is a profession where you can both enjoy and document and the big day. The picture on the left tells two stories. On the left, the bride and her sister are enjoying the wedding day while the sister is tying the bride's dress. In the same photo, we can see the father of the bride getting ready in front of a mirror. The two parties in this wedding photo (the daughters) and the father, act as if they did not know about each other. The girls laugh and chit chat, while the father is arranging his tie in front of the in preparation for the wedding ceremony.
The shot on the right depicts the beautiful bride descending a spiral staircase minutes before she left to the venue. Overwhelmed, her father is looking at her with love. The beautiful smile of the bride and her gracious walk down the stairs makes this a beautiful image.
Shortly after I captured this moment, some of the guests and the bridal party went to the banquet hall to decorate the venue for the wedding reception. The bride wanted a rustic wedding and had the flowers picked up from the gardens early on her special day. As they mentioned at the time of the engagement session, the bride and groom adorned even the wedding chapel with fresh flowers. Speaking of the engagement session, the couple wanted an engagement photo shoot done over several days in a massive production. It was definitely the longest the GTA photo session I have ever done.
